A 17-year-old from Kentucky is facing contempt charges for tweeting the names of two teenagers who sexually assaulted her.
Savannah Dietrich told the news media, she is frustrated by what she feels is a lenient plea bargain.
Attorneys for the boys have asked a judge to hold her in contempt for violating the secrecy of a youth court hearing.
The contempt charge carries a possible sentence of 180 days in jail and a fine of $500.
Dietrich posted on Twitter that she would not protect people who made her life a "living hell".
The news media noted that they do not usually provide the names of victims of sexual assault, but Dietrich and her parents say they do not want to protect their identity and want to have this case out in the public.
