Two women and an infant were found shot to
death in a Lauderdale Lakes, Fla. apartment
on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2011
LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. - Police are looking for anyone with information about a triple murder that left two young Florida women and one 6-month-old baby dead over the weekend.
Broward County Sheriff's spokeswoman Dani Moschella said early Sunday morning an acquaintance of one woman who lived in the apartment dropped by to check in on her, reports CBS Miami.

"As soon as he walked into the apartment he knew something was amiss," said Moschella.

The man called police and when deputies arrived they found the bodies of Natasha Plummer, 25, her 6-month old son Carlton Stringer Jr., and their roommate, 21-year old Octavia Barnett, lying in pools of blood.

Barnett's 11-month old son was in the apartment at the time but was unharmed. He has been placed with protective services and authorities are trying to find relatives to care for him.

An apartment below the one where the bodies were found had to be evacuated because blood was seeping into it from above.

Anyone with information about the case is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
